This depends on whether you want to renew for 1 year or 3 years. If you renew for 1 year, you can do so at any point up to the day before your 26th birthday. If you’re renewing for 3 years, you can renew your 16-25 Railcard at any point up to the day before your 24th birthday.
The savings don’t stop when you’re 26, though – you can always move onto the 26-30 Railcard to enjoy 1/3 off rail travel for another four years!
