There are no direct trains running from Birmingham to Inverness. However, Avanti West Coast (formerly Virgin Trains) run services between Birmingham and Edinburgh. From Edinburgh Waverley, there's a direct train route to Inverness, operated by ScotRail.
All Avanti West Coast (formerly Virgin Trains) offer WiFi, which is complimentary if in First Class. Additionally, these trains can carry up to four bikes free of charge, but you'll need to reserve your spots in advance.
ScotRail provides onboard WiFi services on 18 different rail routes, First Class seating on selected journeys, and there are no restrictions on how carrying bikes. However, the space for these is limited during peak hours.

The train from Birmingham to Edinburgh heads to England's West coast before climbing up through the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, where some fantastic views can be enjoyed. Not before long, you’ll be passing through Carlisle and into Scotland, where you get to see the Scottish Lowlands. Eventually, you'll start to slow as you cross the majestic Forth Rail Bridge outside Edinburgh.
After leaving Edinburgh Waverley, the train to Inverness takes you through the scenic Scottish Highlands. Keep an eye out as you pass the stunning Cairngorms National Park, the largest of its kind in the UK.
