Those travelling in First Class get complimentary drinks and light snacks, as well as free use of the WiFi. For those in Standard, WiFi is available for a small fee.
Starting your journey from Exeter, you can look forward to some breathtaking views of the countryside, spanning from the South West of England right up to the Central Lowlands of Scotland. Your first stop will be Bristol, one of the most scenic cities in England. You'll then pass through the Cotswolds, an area renowned for its peacefully quaint villages.
After changing at Birmingham New Street, Avanti West Coast (formerly Virgin Trains) will take you up through the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales before entering Scotland. As you pass the scenic hills and peaks of the Scottish Lowlands, you'll eventually arrive at your final destination, catching a glimpse of the castle as you pull into Edinburgh Waverley station.
