Trains to London
Southern Railway trains provide excellent and ideal transport links into the city from the south coast. Whether you are commuting for work or to see the sights, there are several London stations to travel to, depending which line you are on. Southern provides passengers to London Victoria, Waterloo, Charing Cross and London Bridge among other, providing passengers the opportunity to move around the city at ease, and plan their journey from the start. During peak times, trains from Brighton to Victoria take less than 90 minutes, using the Gatwick Express route, giving passengers a comfortable and quick journey into the city.
Once in London, there are plenty of attractions to see to make your day trip worthwhile. A ride on the London Eye to take in the views are recommended, plus a family trip to the London Dungeon’s or catching a show on the West End are all popular choices. Southern Train destinations
If you are looking for a trip to the beach and some fresh air, Southern trains can provide you that opportunity. Trains to Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton Central run frequently from London, and with quick travel times, they are ideal for day or weekend breaks. Using the coastal railway lines, you can grab an ice cream along Brighton Pier, go shopping in Southampton or look at the beautiful Portsmouth Harbour. With cheap train tickets when booked in advance, it has never been easier to take visit these coastal towns.
Southern Railway also provides the Gatwick Express, linking both Londoners and those living by the coast a quick and easy way to travel to Gatwick Airport. Gatwick is a major stop on all Southern Lines to and from London, with trains running at least once an hour, making journey times faster and more flexible, at half the cost of long term parking.
Southern Rail has continued to provide links for the whole of the South Central rail network. Southern have pledged to make improvements to Brighton station, as well as Haywards Heath and Three Bridges. Furthermore, they have introduced an hourly service between Southampton and Brighton, increasing the travel between the coastal towns at a faster speed.
