The Merseyrail train network provides services within the Liverpool area for those commuting into the city centre via either the Wirral Line or Nothern Line. Both Merseyrail lines supply trains to each of Liverpool’s four main train stations – Lime Street, Central, James Street and Moorfields, giving passengers plenty of options to get in and out of Liverpool.

Bikes are permitted on Merseyrail trains and there are designated areas at the front and the back of the train.
