Trains to Liverpool

Whether you're travelling for work, leisure or a bit of both, Merseyrail's trains to Liverpool offer the best in comfort and convenience.

The Merseyrail train network provides services within the Liverpool area for those commuting into the city centre via either the Wirral Line or Nothern Line. Both Merseyrail lines supply trains to each of Liverpool’s four main train stations – Lime Street, Central, James Street and Moorfields, giving passengers plenty of options to get in and out of Liverpool.

Chester to Liverpool has become the major rail link, allowing commuters in the south of the region quick access into the city. During peak times, Chester to Liverpool trains run four services every hour, giving commuters flexibility in their travel plans.
