Travelling in First Class with Greater Anglia is a great way to kick back and cruise in style, though First Class carriages are only available on the busy Norwich to London Liverpool Street commuter route.
So, what do you get when you upgrade to First Class? Greater Anglia offers complimentary hot and cold drinks as well as snacks, including a selection of biscuits or Pretzels (Monday to Friday only).
To add to that, there are comfy and spacious seats onboard, a table at every First Class seat, free WiFi and quieter carriages if you need to work or fancy a snooze while you cruise (the quiet carriage is normally carriage B on the London to Norwich route).

Like most trains on the national network, you’re allowed to bring up to two large items like suitcases along with one smaller piece of hand luggage, but please be aware that it may be difficult to carry lots of luggage on board during peak hours.
Yes, WiFi is free for both First Class and Standard passengers, but it’s only available on intercity services operating between Ipswich, Norwich and London.
Yes, only folded bicycles are allowed on Greater Anglia trains that arrive at Stratford or London Liverpool Street between 07:45 and 09:45. The same goes for any trains departing from the stations mentioned above between 16:30 and 18:30.
At other times, non-folded bicycles are allowed on board, but spaces must be reserved in advance, with up to six bicycle spaces available.
If you’re catching a train from London Liverpool Street and you want to travel on an Off-Peak Greater Anglia service, you won’t be able to board any trains before 09:30 (trains departing before this are considered peak).
Trains arriving at London Liverpool Street are considered Off-Peak after 10:00. In the evening, holders of Off-Peak train tickets can’t depart from London Liverpool Street between 16:29 and 18:34.
