A relatively lonesome island halt with a single platform, Brading train station serves the town of Brading on the Isle of Wight. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Island Line Trains. Four trains depart the station each hour, two northbound from Brading for Ryde Pier Head and two southbound for Shanklin. As the line is currently single-track, all trains depart from the single platform.
Particularly notable for its historic qualities, Brading train station is a favourite with railway enthusiasts. Through volunteer efforts and grant funding, the station and all its buildings were fully refurbished and reopened in 2010. Today, Brading Station’s main hall and signal box are Grade II listed and home to a heritage centre, café, museum, and tourist information point. Additionally, the footbridge, east platform building, and station house are all Grade II listed. Passengers may purchase tickets from self-service machines, and there's step-free access to the platform.
