Trains to Bayford

Nestled in Hertfordshire almost 19 miles north of London King’s Cross, Bayford train station serves the villages of Bayford and Brickendon via the Hertford Loop Line. The station is managed and all services operated by Great Northern, who run typical services to Moorgate via Highbury & Islington. Off-peak weekly service sees three trains from Bayford per hour for Moorgate and for Hertford North. There's one northbound train each hour to Letchworth Garden City via Stevenage. On weekends, service becomes half-hourly to Moorgate and Hertford North, and hourly to Stevenage.

Bayford station is unstaffed, and tickets may be purchased from accessible ticket machines at the station. Smartcard validators are also available at this station. Shelters and seating areas are available on both platforms. Information points are only available on platform 1. Platform 1 (southbound and London) has step-free access, but platform 2 (Letchworth Garden City and northbound) is accessible via footbridge only.
