Amberley train station was originally opened as part of the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. Today, it forms part of the Arun Valley line, serving the village of Amberley in West Sussex with connections to London and Bognor Regis.
The station has two platforms, connected by a footbridge. The main access, station building and toilets are on platform 2; there is also a covered waiting area on platform 1. It is staffed during opening hours.
