TGV Lyria are high-speed trains that are part of a collaboration between the Swiss and French national train companies, SBB and SNCF respectively.
TGV Lyria’s Business Class is available all week except on Saturdays and connects Paris to Geneva, Paris to Lausanne, Paris to Basel, Paris to Zurich, Dijon to Basel and Dijon to Zurich.

Standard 1re is TGV Lyria’s First Class, which offers more legroom plus larger and more comfortable seats. Buying a Standard 1re ticket also allows you free access to the SNCF Grand Voyageur Lounge at Paris Gare de Lyon station. What’s more, if your Standard 1re ticket is Flex, you can take any of the trains going to your destination at any time of the day.
Despite being TGV Lyria’s Second Class, you’ll still find very comfortable seats and a restaurant car. Again, you’ll be able to board any train that goes to your destination any time of the day if you have a Flex ticket.

This is TGV Lyria’s most flexible ticket fare. It can be both exchanged and refunded free of charge.
|Semi-Flex ticket||The Semi-Flex ticket is both exchangeable and refundable with a fee of €30. You can exchange your ticket or ask for a refund up to the departure time of your train.|
|Non-Flex ticket||This ticket is the cheapest, but it’s non-exchangeable and non-refundable.|
Take the train from Paris to Geneva and discover the capital of peace, home to many international organisations. Five direct trains connect Paris Gare de Lyon to Genève Cornavin station in 3h 15m every day. The first train from Paris departs at 06:58, while the last one at 19:11.
Located just a few kilometres away from Geneva, Lausanne can be easily reached by train from Paris. Boarding a comfy TGV Lyria train, you’ll be taking in the beautiful Lake Geneva in about 3h 40m. Five direct trains connect Paris to Lausanne every day.
With TGV Lyria you can also travel with ease from one French city to another. You can get from Paris to Dijon in just over an hour. If you’ve always wanted to try the famous Dijon mustard, take one of the 7 direct trains connecting Paris Gare de Lyon to Dijon Ville.
Going from Switzerland to south of France for a summer holiday has never been easier. Take a direct TGV Lyria train from Geneva to Marseille and you’ll be enjoying the sun in just 3h. The first train departs from Genève Cornavin station at 08:38 and from Marseille at 13:46. TGV Lyria trains serve this route only on a seasonal basis.
If you’re travelling with children, don’t forget to book the Family Area, a 4-person face-to-face seating area that is separated from the rest of the coach by a glass panel. You’ll also find a baby-changing area with a changing table and bottle warmer.
Pets under 6 kg can travel for free provided they’re placed in a suitable carrier (40 x 30 x 25 cm). You’ll need a ticket for pets over 6 kg.
You can travel with your bike for free only if disassembled and placed in special bags of 120 x 90 cm.
TGV Lyria offers great deals for family travel, such as the Baby Pass (for children under 4) and the Billet Enfant (for children between 4 and 12 years old), which are available to travel in Business, First and Standard Class.
There’s no luggage limit when travelling with TGV Lyria. There’s plenty of luggage space at each end of the carriages.
Yes, you can easily connect to the onboard WiFi portal by simply using your travel reference number. The portal is available in three languages (French, German and English) and provides useful information about the destination station, cities along the route and possible disruptions.
Yes, all TGV Lyria trains have power sockets so you can charge your electronic devices during your journey.
