However, you need to factor in the time it takes to travel to the airport, as well as how long it takes to go through check-in, security and baggage control. Generally, British airports recommend you arrive two hours before your flight. Then, once you’ve landed at Cornwall Airport Newquay, you’ll need to head to your accommodation, which can take a long time depending on the location. Once you’ve factored everything in, the total travel time when flying from London to Cornwall is around 4 hours.

 

Taking a coach from London to Cornwall

If you want a fuss-free, cheap way to travel from London to Cornwall, you could take the coach. Coach travel is technically the most environmentally friendly way to travel from London to Cornwall, however it takes almost twice as long as the same journey by train.

As soon as you’ve found your seat, you can sit back and relax as you don’t need to make any changes along the way. In just over 7 hours, your coach will arrive at Newquay Bus Station. On the way, your coach will stop at various points, such as Exeter, Plymouth and more. Driving from London to Cornwall

If you have a car, or plan on hiring one, you can drive from London to Cornwall. However, beforehand you need to consider that driving from London to Cornwall emits three times more CO₂ than taking the train.
