Advice for travelling by train in hot weather

If you are travelling during hot weather, we recommend the following:

Check before you travel

There may be disruptions across the rail network due to the heat. Check the status of your train before you head to the station.

Carry water with you

Ensure you have plenty of water to drink, wear cool clothing and take a handheld fan with you if possible.
