It’s easy to get from Calais to Disneyland Paris by train – in fact, the train is faster than driving if you travel on a high-speed TGV train. Driving can take over three hours, whereas the fastest train journeys can take just 2h 02m. There are no direct trains from Calais to Disneyland but the journey requires just one change at Lille. You’ll travel from Calais Fréthun station to Lille-Europe on a TER train, before changing on to a high-speed TGV service to Marne-la-Vallée—Chessy, the station serving Disneyland Paris. You won’t have to worry about hiring a car or navigating busy roads – simply sit back and watch the French countryside roll by as you head towards Disneyland.
Travelling with kids? Kids under 4 travel for free on SNCF trains, provided they sit on an accompanying adult’s lap. Just make sure you enter them as a ‘Youth’ passenger when choosing tickets. Kids aged 4-11 pay child fares, which usually works out at about 50% of the price of an adult fare. Use our Journey Planner above to view train times and find cheap train tickets.
