Southeastern Season ticket types

There are several Southeastern Season ticket types:

Southeastern Weekly Season Tickets

If you’re travelling three or more days a week, the Southeastern Weekly Season Ticket is the right option for you. With this Season ticket type, you’ll get seven days of unlimited travel between the stations shown on your ticket, which is way cheaper than buying four daily return tickets.

Southeastern Monthly Season Tickets

If you need to travel by train on the same route for more than a week, consider buying the Southeastern Monthly Season Ticket – it allows you to travel between two stations as much as you want within a full calendar month. This option is cheaper than buying four Weekly Season Tickets.

Southeastern Custom Season tickets

Need to travel more than a month but less than a year? Then the Southeastern Custom Season ticket is right for you. You can customise your Season ticket by adding on extra days or months. Whichever duration of travel you choose, the discounted rate will be the same.

Southeastern Annual Season Tickets

If you’re travelling on a specific route throughout the year, the Southeastern Annual Season Ticket is the best option for you to save money. What’s more, if you’re travelling between stations within the South or East of England you’ll automatically get an Annual Gold Card, unlocking even more discounts.

Southeastern Flexi Season tickets

If you’re travelling between two places a couple of times a week, a Flexi Season ticket is the perfect option for you. A Southeastern Flexi Season ticket offers 8 days of unlimited travel in a 28-day period – you can travel any time between two named stations.

Southeastern Earlybird Season tickets

If you’re travelling before 7 am between Gravesend and London (Charing Cross, Cannon Street or City Thameslink) or between Meopham and London Victoria, Elephant & Castle and Blackfriars you can enjoy a preferential rate in standard class. 

These Earlybird Season tickets are only valid on journeys that start or finish at Gravesend or Meopham and the pass won't allow you to enter or exit the network on your journey unless its to change train at Bromley South to travel onwards to Elephant & Castle or Blackfriars. The high-speed Javelin services are also excluded from the Earlybird Season ticket. 

For return journeys home you can travel at any time of the day and use any permitted route from London, apart from high-speed services. 

Child-rate Season tickets

This Season ticket is available for anyone under the age of 16 and you must have a child rate photocard. This is available from any National Rail ticket office and proof of date of birth must be presented. A Child-rate Season ticket will expire 4 months after their 16th birthday (maximum).

How to buy Southeastern Season tickets

If you’re buying your Southeastern Season ticket for the first time, make sure you have a Photocard to use as proof of ID. If you don’t have a Photocard, you can either request one free of charge from us by filling in this form or take a passport-sized photo to your local ticket office and they’ll make you one for free.

If you already have a Photocard, you can tell us your Photocard number at the time of purchase and we’ll match it up to your Southeastern Season ticket. Just remember that you’ll always need to bring both your Photocard and Season ticket with you when travelling.
