Trains to Weeton

Weeton Railway Station serves the villages of Weeton and Huby in North Yorkshire with regular Northern trains operating on the Harrogate Line. During typical weekly daytimes, trains from Weeton run on a half-hourly basis southbound to Leeds and northbound to Knaresborough, with hourly trains extending to York. In the evenings and on Sundays, trains operate hourly in each direction.  

Station facilities at Weeton are limited, as the station is entirely unstaffed and lacks ticketing provisions of any kind. Those wishing to travel from Weeton should plan to purchase tickets prior to travel or on board from a guard. Both platforms have basic waiting shelters with seating provided for passenger comfort, and train running updates are provided on passenger information screens and via automated announcements. There is step-free access to the northbound platform (for Harrogate) only, but as the pathway is somewhat steep, it is not recommended for unassisted wheelchair users.
