Trains to Llansamlet

North of Swansea, Llansamlet train station is a station on the Swanline, a part of the South Wales Main Line that stops at ten stations between Cardiff and Swansea. Around 17 trains per day run to Swansea and around ten run to Cardiff Central. The fastest journey time to Swansea is seven minutes and to Cardiff Central is 55 minutes.  

Today, Llansamlet is classed as a suburb of Swansea, but historically it was an important coal mining village. You can walk to Scott’s Pit, a former mining engine house dating to 1817. Also nearby are the Aberdulais Tinworks and waterfallan old tin works and waterwheel in a gorge that is managed by the National Trust,
