Located in the market town of Llandovery in Carmarthenshire, Llandovery Railway Station sees regular Arriva Trains Wales services on the Heart of Wales Line bound for all destinations. Four trains operate northbound daily and five southbound, as one southbound departure originates at Llandovery and does not run on Saturdays. Trains from Llandovery departing southbound run to Swansea, while northbound trains run to Shrewsbury. On Sundays, two trains call in each direction.
Llandovery Railway Station is unstaffed, and there are only basic amenities available for customer usage. As there are no ticketing provisions of any sort, passengers should take care to purchase tickets ahead of travel or from a guard on board. Basic waiting shelters with seating, customer help points, and digital information screens with train running data are installed for customer use. There is a volunteer-run café and gallery located in the main station building. Step-free access is available to both platforms.
