Trains to Kidwelly

Arriva Trains Wales manage all operations and services to Kidwelly train station. The station offers services to Cardiff Central and Carmarthen. Monday to Saturday trains arrive once every two hours en route to Cardiff Central. This service is also available on Sundays but requires a change at either Swansea or Llanelli. Carmarthen is less than a 20-minute journey from Kidwelly there is just one stop at Ferryside on this route. This station is a request stop if a passenger wishes to alight at the station they must make a member of staff on board aware, passengers looking to board this train should signal the driver as the train is approaching the station 

Kidwelly station is unmanned and has limited facilities. Access to both platforms is via Quay Road both entrances can be used by wheelchair users unaided. Facilities at the station include a shelter on each platform. Passengers travelling from Kidwelly must either pre-purchase their ticket or once on board the train service.
