Trains to Heckington

Situated snugly in the village of Heckington, Lincolnshire, Heckington Railway Station is served by regular East Midlands Trains on the weekday-only Nottingham to Skegness Line. Trains from Heckington depart on a roughly hourly schedule to Nottingham via Grantham and, in the opposite direction, to Skegness. 

A largely quiet station, Heckington’s old railway buildings now house the Heckington Station Railway and Heritage Museum. The station itself has minimal facilities and is unstaffed. Passengers travelling from Heckington may use the station car park. Both platforms have basic waiting shelters, and there is bicycle storage present for passenger use. Help points and timetable information posters provide train running information on both platforms, and there is a payphone on platform 2. Passengers wishing to travel from Heckington should purchase tickets in advance or from the guard on board at no extra cost. Level access is available to the Skegness-bound platform; ramped access to Nottingham-bound platform via a footpath.
