Trains to Hammerton

Hammerton Railway Station serves the North Yorkshire villages of Kirk Hammerton and Green Hammerton with regular Northern trains operating on the Harrogate Line. Service is generally hourly; trains from Hammerton depart eastbound to York from platform 1 and westbound to Leeds via Harrogate from platform 2. At peak times, additional services operate, with the exception of Sunday peak times. Passengers seeking onward travel to London should change at York. 

Hammerton Railway Station is unstaffed, and tickets must be purchased either on the train or in advance via a smartphone app or the self-service ticket machines present at the station. The York-bound platform has a waiting room open during all operating hours; both platforms have waiting shelters with bench seating. There are cycle storage facilities and a station car park for customer use.  Train running information is provided via digital display screens and automated announcements. There is step-free access throughout the station. (
