Trains to Crowhurst

Crowhurst railway station lies just a few miles north west of the coastal town of Hastings along the London to Hastings Line in East Sussex. It’s been serving the communities of Crowhurst and the surrounding villages since the turn of the 20^th century. Unfortunately, many of the original brick station buildings were demolished, though one small brick structure still survives today. It’s a basic unstaffed station with little more than overhead lighting and a metal footbridge that connects the two platforms together. Through peak weekdays, there is at least one train departure an hour to Hastings in 15 minutes and one to London Charing Cross in 1 hour 35 minutes.

When you disembark at Crowhurst, you’ll be in the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This land of rolling green hills characterised by woodland forest, farmland, and pretty villages is one of the UK’s favourite places for walking.
