Trains to Bulwell

Bulwell train station is situated in the market town of Bulwell. It is served by trains running on the Robin Hood Line and trams on the Nottingham Express Transit. Trains from Bulwell leave hourly on weekdays, travelling to Nottingham in as little as 11 minutes, and Mansfield Woodhouse in 28 minutes. There are eight services each way on Sundays.   

Originally opened in 1848, Bulwell was one of several stations to serve the town. Briefly renamed Bulwell Market, the station closed to passengers in 1964. It was reopened with its original name in 1994 and its second platform was removed in 2004 to make way for the adjacent tram stop. Today, it is the only railway station in the town, and one of three tram stops. There is a bus station near Bulwell train station, accessed over a footbridge which also links the train platform with the tram platforms and the nearby town centre.
