Trains to Brundall

Brundall train station is one of two stations serving the village of Brundall in Norfolk. It was opened in 1844 with the Yarmouth & Norwich Railway. Today it is situated on the Wherry Lines, linking Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Brundall station and train services are managed by Abellio Greater Anglia. 

Brundall itself is located on the banks of the River Yare, very near the Mid-Yare National Nature Reserve and Norfolk Broads. It is well known for its historical boat building business and has several marinas which offer holiday boat hire.  

There are two platforms at Brundall train station, sitting on opposite sides of a level crossing and footbridge. Both have shelters and seats but there are no ticket facilities for passengers; journeys from Brundall need to be purchased in advance or paid for on the train. The fastest journey times from Brundall train station to Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are 10 minutes, 22 minutes and 3 minutes respectively.
