Trains to Beauly

A compact village station with a single platform, Beauly train station serves Beauly village in the Highland council area. The first stop north of Inverness on the Kyle of Lochalsh and Far North Lines, the historic station boasts the shortest platform in Great Britain at only 50 feet in length—just long enough for a single coach. Originally a staffed station, the station building is now in private use for offices and housing. Beauly sees regular traffic most heavily to Inverness, which is only a 15-minute ride south. Approximately twelve trains from Beauly depart daily northbound to destinations along the Kyle of Lochalsh and Far North lines, and the same southbound to Inverness.

Station facilities include lockers and bicycle stands, a carpark, waiting rooms, and payphones on the platform. Step-free access is available to the platform, although there are no ticket machines at this station. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time or from a guard on board the train.
