Snug within the scenic hills of the Highlands, Attadale Railway Station sees the winding Kyle of Lochalsh Line call at the village station only a short walk from Loch Carron. Originally opened in the 1880s by Dingwall and Skye Railway and operated by Highland Railway, the station today is operated by Abellio ScotRail and is a request stop only with single platform long enough for the two-coach diesel multiple units that call there.
On weekdays and Saturdays, four trains to Attadale from Dingwall and Kyle of Lochalsh call in both directions on request only. On Sundays, one train calls in each direction, adding a second during the late spring, summer, and early autumn months. The station has a covered brick waiting room on the platform, and passengers should purchase tickets in advance. The station is across the road from the renowned Attadale Gardens and conservatory, and is only a short walk from the entrance to Attadale Estate.
