Unfortunately, Eurostar trains are not stopping at Ebbsfleet International throughout 2023. It’s still possible to travel to Paris from Ebbsfleet though, you’ll just need to take a train from Ebbsfleet International to London St Pancras first (the journey takes around 20 minutes) and then catch the Eurostar into Europe from there, as this is where all UK services are starting from.
Fast Javelin trains can get you to London in just 17 minutes, and then the Eurostar from London to Paris takes 2 hours and 22 minutes. Including security checks, you can be in Paris in 3 hours and 17 minutes – which is still pretty quick! We’ll update this page when Eurostar services resume from Ebbsfleet International.
Once you arrive at Paris Gare du Nord station, your Parisian adventures can begin. Whether you’re set for a full day of shopping along the Champs Elysées, planning to see the sights like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, or simply grabbing a croissant and seeing where the wind takes you, the options are endless. Most of the train companies across Europe release their tickets around three to six months in advance, many of which can be cheaper the earlier you book. If you know the dates you want to travel, you may be able to find some cheaper train tickets from Ebbsfleet International to Paris by booking early.§
Many of the train services in Europe are also popular commuter services, lots of train companies increase ticket prices during “peak hours” (generally between 06:00 – 10:00 and 15:00 – 19:00 on weekdays). If you can, consider travelling outside of peak hours to find lower priced tickets.
On some of the busier routes, you might also have the option to take a slower or connecting train. It may take a little longer than some high-speed or direct services, but if you have a little extra time on your hands, you might find a cheaper fare. Plus, you'll have more time to enjoy the view of the countryside!
