If you're planning to get the train to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, head to White Hart Lane station. It's a short walk to the west of the Tottenham Hotspur ground, and there are special services to the station on match days. It's served by London Overground services from London Liverpool Street, Cheshunt and Enfield Town. An alternative is Northumberland Park station, which is served by Great Anglia trains from Stratford and Bishops Stortford.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (previously known as White Hart Lane Stadium) re-opened after a £1 billion building project finished in Spring 2019. Significant improvements to the stadium and the local area and the capacity for matches increased from 36,284 to 62,062. Taking inspiration from the "Yellow Wall", the southern terrace of Dortmund's Westfalenstadion the fans of Tottenham Hotspur FC can make it sound five times that size with their own wall of noise, the single-tier south stand now holds 17,500 supporters.
Spurs have a long and illustrious history of doing just that. Spurs were the first club in the 20th century to win the League and Cup Double, clinching it in 1962, and they have four European cup competitions to their name too.
Despite the new and impressive stadium-size that does not mean that getting tickets to home games at White Hart Lane will be easy, and you should try to book as far in advance as possible. Games and the seats are divided into different price categories, and so tickets to watch Tottenham Hotspur can cost anywhere between £32 and £81.
Tottenham also offer tours of White Hart Lane seven days a week, with the exception of match days. The stadium tours include the dugout and technical area, dressing rooms and directors box, the press auditorium and the trophy room including the clubs many honours. The tours last about ninety minutes - as with match tickets, it's a good idea to book in advance.
