If you're travelling to the Rother Valley Railway by train, the nearest train station – Robertsbridge – is just a minute's walk away. Just step out of the station, look to your right and you'll see the Rother Valley Railway entrance just a few steps away. Regular Southeastern services connect Robertsbridge station with London, Hastings and Tonbridge.
The Rother Valley Railway project is a great chance to experience how a heritage railway can come to life. Currently offering occasional open days at the station, the project is working to link up with the Kent and East Sussex Railway, a similar heritage line, in a few years' time.

Although the line is not up and running yet, the station currently has a small shop and visitor centre, which opens every Sunday to the public. Plans to open up the railway are in progress, which involve building new bridges and restoring the main station.
Currently, the Rother Valley Railway hosts various open days and events throughout the year, including model railway exhibitions and special occasion celebrations.
