The Laing Art Gallery is in the heart of Newcastle city centre. Simply take the train to Newcastle station, and then hop onto the metro to Monument Metro station – the gallery is only a five-minute walk away and is well-signposted.
Founded in 1901, the Laing Art Gallery is home to an vast collection of art which focuses on British oil paintings, watercolours, ceramics, silver and glassware.
