The world-famous Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best-known event of its kind in the world and is the highlight of the boat racing calendar and the social season.

Catching a train to the regatta is easy with frequent services stopping at Henley-on-Thames from Paddington (London) and during the Henley Royal Regatta additional trains call at the station to make getting there even easier. With the river, just a few minutes walk from the railway station as well you'll soon arrive in time for the races.
How to get to Henley Royal Regatta
This year, Henley Royal Regatta takes place from Tuesday 20th June until Sunday 5th July 2026.
Getting to Henley Regatta by train:
- Take a GWR train from London Paddington towards Didcot Parkway or Reading
- Change at Twyford Station
- Take the dedicated shuttle train that connects Twyford to Henley-on-Thames
You can also take the Elizabeth line from London to Twyford and change there for the dedicated train to Henley.
