The station serves the area of Woodsmoor, Stockport and offers services to stations including Manchester Piccadilly, Buxton, and Hazel Grove. Monday to Saturday three trains are available per hour en route to Manchester Piccadilly, this service drops to two services per hour on a Sunday.
