Trains to Whitland

Whitland Railway Station serves the town of Whitland in Carmarthenshire with regular Arriva Trains Wales services operating on the West Wales Line. Trains from Whitland run on a roughly hourly timetable to and from Carmarthen and Swansea eastbound; westbound services are two-hourly and serve Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock. Select eastbound services continue on to serve Cardiff Central, Hereford, and Manchester Piccadilly. Passengers for Stena Line ferries may use the ATW boat trains that serve Fishguard Harbour from this station. 

Facilities at Whitland Station are limited, as the present-day railway buildings are largely disused and the modern station lacks significant amenities. A car park and cycle storage facilities are provided for customer use, but there are no ticketing provisions of any sort provided at the station. Train running information is provided via digital departure and arrival screens. Basic shelters with bench seating are installed on both platforms. There is step-free access to platform 2, but platform 1 is accessed via a very steep ramp and steps.
