Trains to Westerfield

Westerfield Railway Station serves the Suffolk village of Westerfield with regular Greater Anglia services operating on the Felixstowe Branch Line and East Suffolk Line. Most trains from Westerfield operate on the Felixstowe Branch Line, calling once an hour in each direction for Felixstowe and Ipswich respectively. East Suffolk Line trains call between Ipswich and Lowestoft during peak periods and, occasionally, on Sundays.  

The original Felixstowe Railway company buildings still stand as a private residence today, not far from the modern platforms. Cycle stands are provided for customer use, but there are no ticketing provisions of any sort available at the station. Passengers should plan to purchase tickets in advance or on board the train from a guard. Train running information is provided via digital departure screens and announcements. Waiting shelters with seating are provided on both platforms. There is ramped access to both platforms; platform interchange is via level crossing.
