West Norwood station is in Lambeth, south London on Knights Hill, above Norwood High Street. An easy way to find your way here from the surrounding area is to aim for the distinctive three-level tower of the Georgian Grade II listed St Luke's church next door. Trains from the station head to and from London Victoria, London Bridge, Beckenham Junction and Sutton via West Croydon, with many services calling at Crystal Palace, which is two stops away to the south. The typical journey time into London Victoria is about 25 minutes.
The streets surrounding the station are lined with independent shops, restaurants and pubs, and the area is known for the West Norwood Feast, a large community food and craft fair held on the first Sunday of every month. A few minutes' walk from the station down Devane Way is the West Norwood Health and Leisure Centre which opened in 2014, housing a new swimming pool, gym, studio and health facilities.
