Wellingborough station lies on the eastern edge of the quaint market town of Wellingborough and offers easy access to the big city.

Wellingborough station's main concourse is off Midland Road. It has a ticket counter and ticket machines and leads directly onto platform 1 (towards Kettering). The platform also has two additional side entrances, used when the ticket hall is closed. A footbridge with lifts connects to platforms 2 and 3.
