Trains to Walmer

Walmer Railway Station serves the town of Walmer in the district of Dover with regular Southeastern trains running on the Kent Coast Line. In typical off-peak service hours, trains from Walmer operate on an hourly basis to both Ramsgate from platform 2 and London Charing Cross via Folkestone Central and Sevenoaks from platform 1. Select trains serve Sandwich and Faversham from platform 2, while additional trains run to St Pancras from platform 1.  

Walmer Station has a small car park and cycle storage unit available for customer use. The station is manned until late morning, after which time tickets should be purchased from the self-service ticket machine before commencing travel (as Southeastern uses penalty fares). Payphones and toilet facilities are provided for customer use. Both platforms have waiting areas with ample seating, and there are customer help points installed. There is step-free access to both platforms, but interchange is via stepped footbridge only.
