Trains to Styal

Styal train station is just a 7 minute journey from Manchester Airport which makes it an important cog in the region's transport network. Besides its direct connection to this international airport, the village of Styal also serves as a commuter village - Manchester Piccadilly is 35 minutes away by train. Each of Styal's Northern train departures run hourly in each direction with Wilmslow and Crewe – 31 minutes journey time - its other principal destination options. Styal came into being as a village for the workers of the textile mill here and many of its historic buildings date from that time. Today Styal Mill, just a 10 minute amble from Styal train station, is a museum and one of the finest examples of a textile mill of its age to be found anywhere.
