Trains to Southwick

Southwick railway station is used by the community of Southwick and the surrounding villages in West Sussex. It was opened in the mid-19th century with two platforms along the West Coastway Line near Brighton. Today, the station and the trains that pass through are managed by Southern. The original station buildings with their ornate overhanging roofs providing cover are still intact. There is a ticket office which is open everyday in the mornings and early afternoons and facilities that include bench seating, self-service ticket machines and digital passenger information displays. There are four direct departures an hour to Brighton in 13 minutes and one direct train an hour to Southampton Central in 1 hour 36 minutes.

When you disembark at Southwick, you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk from several parks including the Southwick Recreation Ground. If you’re feeling hungry, there’s plenty of spots to grab a bite to eat including the Tosca Tapas & Prosecco Bar.
