South Kenton railway station serves the neighbourhood of Kenton in the outskirts of North West London. The station was opened in the early 1930s along the Euston-Watford DC Line, but today it is served by Arriva Rail London who provides trains across the city as well as London Underground Bakerloo line. It’s a busy commuter station with almost 2 million passengers using all the services each year, most of which pay using the Oyster card as the station is in Travelcard zone 4. It has an island layout with both platforms sitting side by side. Facilities include a ticket office, self-service machines, digital passenger information displays and a canopy roof which provides cover. There are four direct trains an hour to London Euston in 30 minutes and two an hour to Watford Junction in 22 minutes.
When you disembark at South Kenton, you’ll be nearby several green spaces including Northwick Park and the Vale Farm Sports Ground. You’ll also be just a few minutes’ walk from one of the University of Westminster’s campuses.
