Trains to Shalford (Surrey)

Shalford train station is used by the small community of Shalford and the surrounding Surrey villages a few miles south of Guildford along the North Downs Lines. It was opened during the mid-19th-century during a boom in rail construction across the country and is managed today by Great Western Railway. It is a basic station without a ticket office, though there are self-service machines for purchasing them before boarding. Other facilities include a footbridge connecting the two platforms, modern waiting shelters on both sides of the tracks and digital passenger displays. There are hourly irregular direct services northbound to Guildford and Reading, though these are reduced on Sundays.
