Trains to Rose Hill Marple

Rose Hill Marple railway station is one of the stations in the district of Marple in Stockport and serves as the terminus for one of the Hope Valley Lines. It was opened in the late-19^th century, originally just called Marple, by the Macclesfield, Bollington and Marple Railway, though the name was later changed. Its single platform and the trains that pass through are operated by Northern. Throughout the week, the ticket office is open during the mornings and early afternoons, though it shuts during weekends. If you need tickets outside these hours, you’ll need to buy them online in advance or on board the train with the conductor. There’s little in the way of facilities other than timetable posters and the station building’s overhanging roof which provides some shelter. There are up to two trains an hour to Manchester Piccadilly in 31 minutes and Romiley in 5 minutes.
