Trains to Ravensbourne

Ravensbourne railway station makes up part of the London Borough of Bromley in South London. It’s within the Travelcard Zone 4, so it’s possible to use an Oyster card at the station. It was originally opened by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway in the late-19^th century along the newly built Catford Loop Line. Today, the station and the trains that pass through are managed and run by Thameslink. There’s a ticket office open during the mornings, though it closes on Sundays. Other facilities include ticket machines, a footbridge linking both the platforms and digital displays showing passenger information. There are four trains an hour to Bromley South in 5 minutes and direct to London Blackfriars in 31 minutes.

When you disembark at Ravensbourne, you’ll be within a stone’s throw of the enormous Beckenham Place Park where you can go walking or lay out a picnic in the summer sunshine. Alternatively, you can pack up your clubs and tee off along the fairways at the Shortlands Golf Club.
