Princes Risborough station is on the Chiltern Main Line with services running between London Marylebone and Birmingham and, at times, along the branch line to Aylesbury. Services stopping here don't go direct to Birmingham, so passengers need to change at either Bicester North or Banbury. There are, though, three direct trains per hour to and from London, which take around 40 minutes Marylebone.
The town centre is about a mile away from the station - about 15 minutes' walk or eight minutes by bus - with the main shopping area along High Street and Duke Street. Keep an eye out for the distinctive Market House in Market Square, where the two streets meet. Being in the Chilterns, the area is popular with walkers and cyclists, with the town a popular gateway for the Chilterns Cycleway, and the Ridgeway National Trail passes within half a mile of the station.

Princes Risborough station has three platforms. London and Aylesbury trains depart from platform 2, and Bicester North and Banbury trains depart from platform 3. Access between the platforms is via stairs or lifts and a pedestrian bridge. There's a ticket counter inside and toilets and a coffee shop through the concourse on the platform. Outside the station entrance, you'll find a pay-and-display car park, taxi rank, ticket machines and cycle storage.
