Newton-on-Ayr Railway Station serves the neighbourhood of Newton on Ayr with regular Abellio ScotRail trains operating on the Ayrshire Coast Line. Trains from Newton-on-Ayr run with very good frequency, departing two or three times every hour in each direction (with three assured departures an hour on Saturdays). These services run to Ayr and Glasgow Central, calling at all intermediate stations. In the evenings and on Sundays, trains operate hourly.
