Serving the Newcourt area of Exeter, Newcourt Railway Station sees regular Great Western Railway trains operating on the Avocet Line. Trains from Newcourt run half-hourly in each direction, running to and from Exmouth and Exeter Central or Exeter St Davids with alternate trains extending to Barnstaple on the Tarka Line or Paignton on the Riviera Line. On Sundays, services still run, but at a reduced frequency. Passengers for Bristol, Salisbury, London, and other destinations should change at Exeter.
A brand-new station opened in 2015, Newcourt Station has modern facilities installed for passenger use on the single platform. The full range of tickets may be purchased from the self-service machine located at the station, and those awaiting their trains may use the waiting shelter and seating provided. Customer updates are provided on digital display screens and through help points installed on the platform. There is step-free pedestrian access from Liberty Way.
