Trains to Neston

Just across the border from Wales, Neston Railway Station serves the town of Neston in Cheshire with regular Arriva Trains Wales operating on the Borderlands Line. Trains from Neston operate on an hourly basis, southbound to Wrexham Central from platform 2 and northbound to Bidston from platform 1. Passengers for travel to Liverpool and beyond should change at Bidston for connections on the Wirral Lines. On Sundays, trains operate roughly every two and a half hours.  

Facilities at Neston are rather basic. There are two station car parks located behind each platform. As there are no ticketing provisions at the station, passengers should purchase tickets in advance or on board from the train guard. Train running information is provided via digital departure and arrival screens, and there are payphones provided for customer use. Basic plexiglass waiting shelters with bench seating are installed on both platforms, and there is step-free access throughout via ramp.
