Trains to Neilston

Neilston Railway Station serves the village of Neilston, East Renfrewshire, with regular ScotRail service on the Cathcart Circle Lines from the terminus towards Glasgow. Trains from Neilston run on a basic half-hourly schedule; as Neilston is the terminus, all trains run towards Glasgow Central via Queens Park from platform 1. Arriving trains only use platform 2 before proceeding to a reversing siding just beyond the station (and then departing from platform 1). Typically, the journey takes just under half an hour.  

Station facilities at Neilston Station include a station car park with accessible spaces and a bicycle storage facility. The station ticket office is staffed during most hours of operating, including until late evening throughout the week. Self-service ticket machines are also available for passenger use. Train running information is provided via digital departure and arrival screens and automated announcements. Toilet facilities, a waiting room with bench seating, and a payphone are located on platform 1. There is step-free access to both platforms.
