Mytholmroyd train station serves the communities of Mytholmroyd, Luddendenfoot, Midgley, and Cragg Vale with regular Northern trains operating on the Calder Valley Line. Trains from Mytholmroyd operate on a half-hourly basis in each direction. Westbound trains serve Manchester Victoria from platform 1, with one stopping service and one semi-fast service that omits Walsden and stations south of Rochdale. Eastbound trains run to Leeds from platform 2, running alternately via Bradford Interchange or Brighouse and Dewsbury. In the evenings and on Sundays, trains are hourly. Select services run to Preston in Lancashire.
