Trains to Llanfairfechan

Lying near the seaside town it serves, Llanfairfechan Railway Station sees regular Arriva Trains Wales passenger services on the North Wales Coast Line between Crewe and Holyhead. In typical off-peak hours, trains from Llanfairfechan operate every two hours with through services to Chester via Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn, and Flint. Holyhead-bound trains depart from platform 1; Chester-bound trains depart from platform 2. Past Chester, trains continue to Cardiff Central or Birmingham International. Sunday services run at a reduced rate, and largely operate to and from Crewe. 

Although a request halt, facilities for passenger use at Llanfairfechan Railway Station are good, and include a small car park and digital display screens that provide up to date train running information. As there are no ticketing provisions of any sort, tickets should be purchased in advance or from a guard on board the train. Basic shelters with seating are located on both platforms, and there is step-free access throughout the station.
