Trains to Lelant Saltings

A more common halt than its sister-station only a bit down the line, Lelant Saltings Railway Station serves Park and Ride customers for St Ives with regular Great Western Railway trains operating on the St Ives Bay Line. Trains from Lelant Saltings depart on a half-hourly schedule throughout most of the week, typically running between St Ives and St Erth. A select number of trains extend beyond St Erth to Penzance. Additionally, some summer services originate and terminate here.  

Facilities at Lelant Saltings include bicycle storage, a paid station car park, and basic shelters just adjacent to the car park. Bench seating is available on the single platform. A customer help point and payphone are situated just outside the station entrance. As there are no ticketing provisions, passengers wishing to travel from the station should take care to purchase tickets for travel ahead of time or on board the train from a guard. There is step-free access to the platform from the station car park.
